This saturday,I arranged to go out with my friends from my primary school.We met at Tampines Mall where they ate fast food but I did not join them as i had eaten already.While on the MRT,we thought about what we were going to do and decided to go to Vivocity to watch a movie.
After a long MRT ride,we got off at Vivocity and bought tickets to for the 4 o clock screening of "cloverfield".A monster movie.We were surprised when we saw the movie as it was in a format of a person holding a video camera documenting the whole event.I was disappointed as i could not really see the monster very clearly but it looked like a gigantic insect-dinosaur hybrid.After the movie my friends thought it was a rip-off and we even heard a particular comment from the audience saying it looked like a youtube video.
After eating our dinner at Mcdonald,we traveled all the way back to east coast park to rent bicycles.Feeling adventurous we cycled through a dark forest with completely no lighting and got lost at one point untill we finally ended up in (no joke) Old Changi Hospital.The day was getting way too spooky and we decided to head home.Overall,it was a fun day and i hope i can have more Saturdays like that in the future.

2nd personal recount
On Thursday it we just like any other day when suddenly during literature lesson,the fire bell rang!It was the signal for the fire drill everyone had been waiting for all week.Plus it coudnt have come at a better time than literature,which was really boring.
The hot midday sun shone on us but nobody seemed to mind knowing that they could skip lessons.Something really funny happened though.Wen ji dug out a huge amout of rubber from the field and began passing it forward telling us to throw it on Aaron Low when it got to him.We passed it to Aaron Tay and he threw it all over A.Low.Wen Ji's laughter turned to panic as Aaron began to dig up and even huger amout of rubber and passed it backwards.When David got the rubber he threw it on Wen Ji's pants and Wen Ji,misunderstanding David,started a sort of "rubber war" throwing handfuls of rubber.Even the students of 2A,who had seen the fight,joined in,making the whole situation even more frantic.
I breathed a sigh of relief when it was our turn to go back to class as i was sure one of them would have gotten into trouble.

On friday,we had NCC training as usual,but i must say,this weeks training was utter and complete torture.To start off a miserable day,i had forgotten to bring my beret,and our staff proclaimed that we had to do fifteen push ups for every part of our uniform that we did not bring.I did my pushups while pretending not to notice the angry glares from my peers.
Next,we had to split into groups and practice our drills.We had to do pushups as our group screwed up while marching.one of the cadets in our group took a painfully long time to do four pushups and we all had to hold in pushup position untill he finished.The day took a turn for a better when the sergeants said our marching had improved and were becoming better then the other cadets.Hearing this, i beamed in pride.
The day ended with us being briefed of what would happen during our camp FEAST which was an event that took place every year at NCC headquarters.I was very reluctant in going to camp but i was glad that i could skip two days of school :P.

1st week of school
school!The holidays have ended and school has reopened (sadly).Nothing much happened on the first week of the year.on Wednesday there wasnt any lessons and we pretty much spent the whole day slacking. on thursday haziq and zhi yuan used water bottles to hit a shuttle cock around but zhiyuan accidentally broke his bottle and spilt water all over the floor. it was pretty hilarious we laughed non stop.during class elections wen ji kept shouting my name for every post and eventually i got chosen to be the humanities rep.thanks alot man -.-.Most of our teachers were the same except for our history teacher who i saw for the first time who is a pretty funny guy.Overall it was a uneventful week
